Terms of use

Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms set out the rules for using Baxim.az. By using the platform, creating an account or making a booking, you accept these terms and our Privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

1. Definitions

  • Platform: the baxim.az website and all its services, operated by Baxim.az.
  • User: anyone who uses the platform or books a service.
  • Venue: a salon, studio, clinic, spa or independent professional with a profile on the platform.
  • Booking: a user's request to receive a service at a given venue at a given time.

2. What the platform does

Baxim.az is an online booking platform that connects users with venues. We don't provide beauty or wellness services ourselves; venues do. The service contract is between you and the venue.

The venue is responsible for the quality, safety and hygiene of its services and for the accuracy of its listing (prices, services, opening hours, photos). We work to keep listings up to date but can't guarantee them.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 to use the platform.
  • Keep your details, such as your name and phone number, accurate and current.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including access to your email and Google account.
  • Your account is personal. Don't book in someone else's name or share your account.

4. Bookings

  • A booking is a request sent to the venue. Some venues confirm instantly; others confirm it themselves. You can see the status under “My bookings”.
  • All times are Baku time.
  • Venues set their own prices. The final price may vary with hair length, materials or extra services; check with the venue.
  • The platform does not currently take online payments. You pay the venue directly.
  • Please arrive on time. Arriving late may shorten your service or lead to cancellation.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

  • You can cancel a booking under “My bookings”. Please do so as early as possible, and at least 2 hours ahead, so the venue can offer the slot to someone else.
  • A venue may decline or cancel a booking. If it does, the status will update under “My bookings”.
  • Not showing up without notice, or repeatedly cancelling late, may lead to restrictions on your account.
  • Venues may have their own cancellation rules. Where these are shown on their profile, they apply as well.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be based on a real visit. False statements, insults, hate speech, personal data, advertising and fake reviews (including on behalf of competitors) are not allowed. We may remove reviews that break these rules.

7. What you must not do

  • Make fake bookings or bookings you don't intend to keep.
  • Collect platform data by automated means (scraping).
  • Interfere with the platform's operation or security.
  • Use other users' or venues' data for anything other than a booking.
  • Post unlawful, abusive or misleading content.

8. For venues

Venues must keep their profiles accurate, respond to bookings promptly and use customer data only to fulfil bookings. Terms of partnership with venues may be set out in a separate agreement.

9. Intellectual property

The platform's design, logo, text and software belong to Baxim.az and may not be copied or used without our permission. Venue photos and materials belong to their owners.

10. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided “as is”. We aim for it to run without interruption or errors but can't guarantee that. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for services provided by venues or disputes with them, or for indirect loss caused by the platform being temporarily unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Suspension

We may restrict or suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account by writing to info@baxim.az.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of this page, and we will give advance notice of significant changes. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We will first try to resolve any dispute through negotiation; if that fails, it will be settled by the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

14. Contact
